As a user of our Website, we may ask you to share personal information with us. Whether you choose to give Unzipped Media, Inc. information is completely up to you.  We collect personal information from you if you choose to enter such information in the form to sign up for our email list. At this time, the following are examples of the types of personal information we may collect when you visit our Website:

We do not collect any financial information.

How We Use Information

Personal information. How We Collect Information

Information collected manually.  We have a section on our website where we invite visitors to provide us with their name and address information.  If you choose to receive emails from us, when you enter your information, it will be collected by our account at third party website, www.MailChimp.com.  You will need to confirm your subscription via an email you will receive from MailChimp following entry of your information.  Note that since MailChimp is a Third Party Site, we have no control over the security of information stored there in our account.  For more information, see “Third Party Sites” below.

Information collected automatically.  Our web server may automatically collect information from your browser when you visit our Website. This information includes your IP address, your browser type and language, and access time.  Note that this is saved anonymously and in aggregate rather than on a per-user basis.

Information Sharing

Personal Information: We may share your information within Unzipped Media, Inc., and its affiliates and subsidiaries.  Otherwise, we do not share your personal information with others except as indicated below or when we inform you and give you an opportunity to opt out of having your personal information shared. This policy does not cover the privacy practices of Third Party Sites, or of companies that Unzipped Media, Inc. does not own, operate or control, or the actions of people that Unzipped Media, Inc. does not employ or manage. We use MailChimp.com to collect and store personal information of users who sign up for our email list. Additionally, we may choose to work with trusted third party social network Websites like Facebook, and with application developers who specialize in social commerce so we can connect to your social networks. Other social networks we may use include but are not limited to Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. All of these companies operate Third Party Sites. We provide access to our Website by third parties and business partners so we can generate interest in our products and services among members of your social networks and to allow you to share product interests with friends in your network. The use of any features made available to you on our Website by a third party may result in information being collected or shared about you by us or by the third party. Information collected or shared through any such third party features is considered “public information” by us because the third party sites made it publicly available.
